Stop fake leads at the HubSpot form.
FormShield adds one-time-passcode verification to the HubSpot forms you already run. Submitters confirm a code sent to their phone over WhatsApp or SMS — and anyone who can't, whether bot, bulk-filler, or made-up number, never reaches your CRM.
Live in three steps
From install to protected forms in minutes.
Connect HubSpot
Install FormShield and authorize it through HubSpot OAuth. One connection covers your whole portal.
Connect WhatsApp or Twilio
Link your WhatsApp Business account through Meta's embedded signup, or your Twilio account for SMS. Codes send from your own accounts at carrier rates — hubglo adds no markup on messages.
Activate and protect
One click places the widget into your site theme through HubSpot's CMS API — every page covered, including ones you publish later. Then toggle protection per form and map the phone field.
Verify real people. Block the rest.
When someone submits a protected form, FormShield sends a one-time passcode to their phone and only releases the submission to HubSpot once it is verified. Bots and fake leads stall at the gate; genuine prospects pass through in seconds.
- ✓ Real submitters verify and flow straight into HubSpot
- ✓ Junk and bot submissions never create a contact
- ✓ Cleaner pipeline, accurate reporting, fewer wasted follow-ups
Everything in the gate
Built for HubSpot teams who want clean data without busywork.
Gates the forms you already have
FormShield never renders its own form. It intercepts your existing HubSpot form at submit time — nothing to rebuild, re-embed, or restyle.
WhatsApp and SMS delivery
Send codes over WhatsApp through Meta's Cloud API, or SMS through Twilio — chosen per form. WhatsApp gets read near-instantly in markets like India, Brazil, and Southeast Asia, where email is an afterthought.
One-click, site-wide install
Activation injects a single script into your theme layout through HubSpot's Source Code API. Every page is covered — even ones published after setup — and deactivation is just as clean.
Abuse protection by default
Three codes per phone per five minutes, fifteen per IP per ten minutes, and a portal-wide daily send cap. SMS pumping gets stopped and logged — not silently absorbed into your messaging bill.
An audit trail you can trust
Every code — sent, verified, failed, expired, or rate-limited — lands in an immutable log with a masked phone number, timestamp, and request ID. Daily per-form rollups feed your reports; the activity feed shows exactly what happened, when.
Tunable per form
Code length (4–8 digits), expiry (1 to 30 minutes), max attempts, delivery channel, and phone-field mapping are all set per form — so verification matches how each form is actually used.
Straight talk on what it is
FormShield is a lead-quality gate, not a web application firewall. It works in the browser at submit time, so it dramatically raises the cost of casual spam and confirms real submitters. A determined attacker posting directly to HubSpot’s form endpoint can still bypass a client-side gate, so we tell you that up front rather than overselling it.
FormShield questions
What teams ask before switching it on.
What does a visitor actually see?
A small branded modal: “We sent a code to +1•••••••99”, an input for the code, and a resend link. Real submitters are through in seconds, and you can match the modal to your brand color.
Do I have to rebuild my HubSpot forms?
No. FormShield protects your existing HubSpot forms. It installs once into your site and gates submissions at submit time, so there is no rebuild and no separate embedded form.
How are one-time passcodes delivered?
Over WhatsApp (via Meta) or SMS (via Twilio). You connect a delivery channel during setup and FormShield sends and verifies codes when someone submits a protected form.
Can I protect only some forms?
Yes. The widget installs site-wide, but you turn OTP verification on for individual forms and map which field holds the phone number.
Is this a server-enforced firewall?
No. FormShield gates submissions in the browser, which sharply raises the cost of casual spam and confirms real submitters. It is not a server-side block against someone deliberately posting straight to HubSpot’s endpoint. It is a lead-quality gate.
