1. Who We Are
hubglo ("hubglo", "we", "us") operates hubglo.com, the hubglo account at account.hubglo.com, and FormShield (formshield.hubglo.com). FormShield gates HubSpot form submissions with phone-based one-time passcodes (OTP).
We are a small, independent operation, and info@hubglo.com is our single point of contact for any privacy question or request.
This policy explains, in plain terms, what data we handle and why.

- End-users (your form submitters) whose data passes through FormShield
3. What We Collect and Why
Website visitors. Standard server logs capture the basic request data your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages viewed). Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's localStorage. We use no analytics and no tracking or advertising cookies.
Customer accounts. Your name, email, company, and phone; your HubSpot connection details; and your activity in the app. We do not see or store your card details (see Section 6).
HubSpot data (via OAuth). With your authorization, FormShield accesses only what it needs to work: your form definitions and submissions, your site theme (to inject the widget), and basic contact, team, and page details for coverage stats. We do not build marketing profiles; we process this only to run FormShield for you.
End-user OTP data. When someone submits a protected form, we process the phone number (and submitted fields) to send and verify a passcode. We log verification events (sent, verified, failed, expired, rate-limited) with timestamps. The passcodes themselves are not logged; where they are stored for verification, they are hashed rather than kept in plain text.
4. Legal Basis
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on the usual bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, your consent where required, and meeting legal obligations.
5. How Long We Keep It
- Server logs: up to 90 days
- Account data: while your account is active, then up to 90 days after deletion
- OTP verification-event logs: up to 12 months
- Anything required by law (for example, tax records held by our payment provider): as the law requires
6. Who Else Processes Data
We rely on a few providers to run the service:
- HubSpot, the platform FormShield connects to
- Twilio, for SMS passcode delivery
- Meta / WhatsApp Business, for WhatsApp passcode delivery
- A third-party payment provider (merchant of record), which sells the subscription to you, issues invoices, and collects and remits tax; it handles your payment details, not us
- Cloud hosting and CDN providers, to run the site and app
Your data may be processed in other countries by these providers under their own terms.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may have rights over your data, such as access, correction, or deletion, under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. Email info@hubglo.com and we will handle your request. We do not sell your personal data.
8. Controller and Processor
For data about your form submitters:
- You are the data controller. You decide which forms to protect, and you are responsible for informing your end-users and obtaining any required consent (see the Terms on messaging consent).
- hubglo is the processor. We handle that data only to run FormShield on your instructions.
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
9. Security
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect data, for example TLS encryption in transit and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. No method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
FormShield is a business tool and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live). If you believe a child's data reached us, email info@hubglo.com.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and we will note material changes to customers by email.
