FormVerify for WhatsApp

WhatsApp verification for HubSpot forms.

Before a protected form submits, FormVerify sends a one-time verification code (OTP) to the visitor’s WhatsApp from your own business number. Real people confirm in seconds. Fake numbers never reach HubSpot.

What your visitor does

The same HubSpot form, plus one quick check.

  1. 1

    They submit your form

Name, email, phone: your HubSpot form, unchanged.

  2. 2

    An OTP arrives on WhatsApp

From your business’s own number, with a Copy code button.

  3. 3

    They enter it

Six digits in a small popup on your page, with nothing to install.

  4. 4

    The lead reaches HubSpot

Only then does the form submit, and the contact can be marked verified.

Your number, your brand

  • ✓ Connect your WhatsApp Business account with Facebook, in a few clicks
  • ✓ FormVerify creates the OTP message template and Meta approves it
  • ✓ OTPs come from your number and business name, not ours
  • ✓ Meta bills you directly, only for OTPs delivered; no markup

When someone isn’t on WhatsApp

  • ✓ FormVerify sees within seconds that the message can’t be delivered
  • ✓ With SMS connected, the visitor gets a fresh OTP by SMS automatically
  • ✓ Without it, the popup asks for a number that’s on WhatsApp
  • ✓ A fake or mistyped number never gets through either way

WhatsApp verification questions

Do visitors need WhatsApp?

Connect Twilio SMS as well and visitors whose number isn’t on WhatsApp get the code by SMS a few seconds later. Without SMS, the popup tells them the number isn’t on WhatsApp and asks for one that is.

Whose number sends the OTP?

Yours. You connect your own WhatsApp Business account through Meta in a few clicks, and OTPs go out from your number and business name with a message template FormVerify creates for you.

What does it cost?

Meta bills you directly for each OTP delivered, at its rate for the visitor’s country; hubglo adds no markup. FormVerify plans start at $69 a month, every plan includes WhatsApp and SMS, and you get 14 days free.

Which forms does it work with?

HubSpot forms on HubSpot pages, or embedded on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and other sites. You choose which forms ask for an OTP; the rest are untouched.

How safe are the OTPs?

Each OTP is six digits, works once, expires after ten minutes and allows three tries. A number can request three OTPs per form every five minutes and ten an hour in total, an IP address fifteen every ten minutes, and each portal has a daily cap, so no one can use your form to send messages in bulk.
