Phone number verification for HubSpot lead forms.
Your reps can only sell to people they can reach. FormVerify sends a one-time code to the number on the form, by WhatsApp or SMS, and the form only submits once the visitor enters it. Every verified lead arrives with a number that belongs to them.
What a verified number rules out
Each of these passes a format check. None of them can receive the code.
Typos
One wrong digit and the code never arrives, so the typo is caught before the form submits.
Made-up numbers
A number invented to dodge a sales call passes a format check. Whoever holds it, the visitor never sees the code.
Someone else’s number
The rep calls and a stranger answers: “I never filled out your form.” The code goes to the real owner, so the form can’t submit.
Dead numbers
Disconnected and unassigned numbers can’t receive messages, so they can’t verify.
Why format checks miss these: HubSpot phone validation vs verification.
Built for teams that call every lead
If a wrong number costs a rep’s time, verify it on the form.
Real estate
Buyer and seller enquiries that agents call back within minutes.
Education and admissions
Prospective students and parents whose counsellors follow up on WhatsApp.
Lending and insurance
Quote requests where every call costs an advisor’s time.
Clinics
Consultation bookings that front desks confirm by phone.

Phone verification questions
How is this different from HubSpot’s phone number validation?
HubSpot’s validation checks that a number is formatted correctly. It can’t tell whether the number exists or belongs to the person on the form. Verification sends a code to the number, so only someone holding that phone can submit.
Will it stop form spam?
It stops people typing fake numbers and bots that fill in your form on the page. It isn’t a server-side firewall, so bots that post straight to HubSpot’s Forms API skip it. Mark verified contacts in HubSpot and those submissions are easy to filter out.
What about visitors with only a landline?
Codes go out by WhatsApp or SMS, so a landline can’t receive one. Leave verification off forms where many real buyers give an office line, and protect the forms where a mobile number matters.
What does it cost?
FormVerify plans start at $69 a month, every plan includes WhatsApp and SMS, and you get 14 days free. Codes send from your own Meta or Twilio account at their rates; hubglo adds no markup.
